Jack Dromey MP Working hard for Birmingham Erdington

“This is my latest weekly update as we continue the fight against Coronavirus.
I’d like to send my condolences to Jean Beattie, whose husband Charlie sadly lost his life to COVID-19 this week, and all their family. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Other updates this week:
✅ I’ve continued my fight to get care homes proper support. Including intervening on behalf of one care home in particular who reached out desperate for PPE
✅ Working with employers locally, supporting them to access the various Government schemes – ensuring thousands keep their jobs
✅ Continuing the work with the Erdington Task Force – delivering vital support to those in need
✅ Working with the Birmingham Task Force on city-wide issues such as access to testing
✅ We remembered those workers who have died at work on Workers Memorial Day
✅ We commemorated International Workers Day
